In retrospect, I can really begin to respect Nashville. After seeing the Oilers bitch and complain after every whistle, I almost forgot that not every team is like that. I love the arrogance from Oilers players, coaches, fans, and media. They look so stupid after every loss.

The Oilers don’t strike me as a resilient team. They get frustrated easily and we need to turn this series into a knife fight in the mud. If we get too cute with things, we will get outgunned. However, if we play tight and physical, we can frustrate the heck out of them.

Is it too early to hang Šilovs’ salmon shirt in the rafters?

That’s a fair point but if we make it past Nashville, we were able to sharpen our defensive coverage/habits and got used to nasty physicality. Edmonton has weaker defense and goaltending and if we can carry these habits into the next round, we may just be able to contain the Edmonton big guns.
