I'm content with the work this team has done. Messing with the chemistry for another rental may not have given us a better team. Plus we can't really give away more prospects or draft picks. If we brought someone in then we have to move someone out. As it stands we're going to have 7 nhl defenceman once Myers come back one of them will have to sit. At this point I like Juulsen. I almost feel like the team is better with Myers as the 7th defenceman. If we did anything another forward would of been nice but I think we can do damage with the current roster. We're deep down the middle and have great goaltending(Demko can steal a series on his own).

I could be wrong but it seems they kept all there top prospects. Quantity over quality.

It would have made no sense to pile on prospects and swap Lindholm out. The only people who are disappointed with Lindholm are the people who look at goals and assists. I thought Lindholm played really well against the Kings the other night. Playoff games are going g to be tight and we.need guys here that can play complete games. In the playoffs every shift is magnified a d you can't make even a single mistake. If we're going to add a top player I would prefer it to be Toffoli as he looked good with EP a few years ago and has chemistry with Lindholm.

Fair deal for both sides. As the cap increases this should turn into a favorable deal for the club and this buys out alot of UFA years. There is no doubt that the noise of the contract was weighing on him and hurt his play on the ice..Now hopefully he can focus on helping the team win a championship.
