    Pat Quinn Brian Burke was hell-bent on drafting the Sedins. Vancouver had 1st and 3rd picks, Atlanta had 2nd. Quinn traded 1st for 2nd, on the understanding that Atlanta would pick Stefan (who was #1 on draft charts). Stefan was chosen first, then Dank & Hank.

    I did say that the hit IS worthy of a penalty/fine/suspension. But I have muted sympathy for Marchand being taken down by the kind of dirty hit that he epitomizes.

    Seeing the reverse angle of the Marchand hit, I now understand what happened to him. Worthy of a penalty/fine/suspension, but he was knocked out by a standard "Marchand" play, so my sympathies for him are muted. I guess that makes me a 'bad' person.
