The Canucks have been trying things on the powerplay and 2 for 9 is a slight improvement, with the Miller unit picking up a goal each game over the past 2 games, though in practice they'd gone back to the old core unit with garland. The Canucks only had 3 penalties last game (though some at a crucial stage) so maybe things are on the upswing. All eyes will be back on EP with his newly signed 8-year deal - perhaps he can start taking it up a level as we are less than 20 games until the playoffs. DeSmith is the likely starter per Paterson. The Ducks came off a win Friday over Quinn's brothers with rookie Dostal posting a 52-save win and Frank the tank scoring a double to impress the deadline deal hunters. However consistency has not been their friend and Dostal's win broke a 2 game losing streak for him. It's time to get over worrying and get back to winning.
