  9. Standings Update Playoff Picture Some movement in the Central with the St. Louis Blues bringing it on late. But these will be your 16 teams for the inaugural GFL season. Congrats to all 16 teams All Teams in playoffs can now start posting their playoff rosters. As mentioned on Discord (but for those not on Discord) here is what I posted earlier So I need playoff rosters posted from the following teams (If you have done so please ignore). Failure to post a playoff roster will mean your team will not accumulate points until you have posted. AZ - @Bounce000 COL - @Thrago WPG - @arby18 STL - @Master Mind // @Phil The Thrill LAK - AriGold CHI - @Patrick Kane CGY - @Rick Blight VGK - @Lethunder TBL - @Relyt Krets PIT - @Miss Korea OTT - @Robert Paulson FLA - @Herberts Vasiljevs CBJ - @ArtemChubarov MTL - @Mike Vanderhoek CAR - @Down By the River PHI - @Ilunga / @Aladeen Houdini for Celebrini For reference the teams that these teams will match up to (As of tonight, subject to change) 1 - SJS 2 - CHI 3 - ANA 4 - CBJ 5 - UTA 6 - MON 7- OTT 8 - SEA 9- CGY 10 - NJD 11 - BUF 12 - PHI 13 - MIN 14 - PIT 15 - DET 16 - STL
  10. Just a note for the playoffs. All playoff teams are required to set their rosters before the first game of the Stanley Cup Playoffs is underway. Reminder you can set your team within the roster parameters (23 players - 13/14 F - 7/8 D) reminder as well we only allow you to set 1 starting goalie, with the other (if applicable) will be on your bench. Lastly, important to note please name all your "black aces" these players are only eligible to be called up in between rounds as no call up's are permitted mid round. Any questions let me or Gator know From the CBA: Re backup goalies in playoffs The only difference is you can only use 1 "starting" goalie per playoff round. You can only activate your backup goalie if your starter gets hurt, and you have the minimum budget requirement met in your "medical/training facility" to do so. see section 6.4
  11. Standings Update Playoff Outlook
  12. Waivers The Buffalo Sabres (Priority 5) have claimed Emil Bemstrom off waivers from the Washington Capitals Backdated to March 28/24 The Following players have cleared waivers DAL - Joel Edmundson & Oskar Sundqvist WSH - Tyson Barrie & Jarred Tinordi
  13. I processed the call ups in the order of which they were typed, which meant that you were not able to call up Aidan McDonough as you currently have a full roster of 23
  14. Joel Edmundson was placed on waivers as per the post, but unable to be assigned to the minors as this would put you over your minors cap. Therefore the subsequent move of Matthew Kessel being called up was unable to be processed Duplicate moves, with the move on 3/26/24 being processed already The assignment of Matthew Phillips and recall of Aku Raty still does not permit enough cap space for Edmundson to be assigned to the minors as it would still put you over the Minors Cap. With that, again I am unable to process Matthew Kessel being recalled
  15. Injured Reserve Tampa Bay Lightning activate Nick Seeler from the IR and place in active roster
  16. Activate Dakota Joshua Assign JJ peterka (No waivers)
  17. If anyone would like to be the owner of this sheet and keep track I can send it over to you or any agent who would like to take care of this in the future https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Pu0mrwLPe7NNk2fb1YO0yjlSL2_69u6O6JPMJefsIcY/edit?usp=sharing
  18. Standings Update 3 Weeks until playoffs! APR 20 cannot come fast enough! Potential Playoff Matchups Western Wildcard swapping spots since last post. Atlantic, Central and Pacific looks to have their division # 1's in good standing. Potential Battle in the Metro with Carolina making a late surge. Top 5 Teams for March 1 - LAK (957.5) 2 - STL (808.5) 3- CAR (776.5) 4 - CBJ (759) 5 - TBL (752.75) Top 5 Forwards for March 1 - Nathan MacKinnon - BUF 2 - Timo Meier - STL 3 - Connor McDavid - ARZ 4 - Mikko Rantanen - PIT 5 - Leon Draisaitl - STL Top 5 Dmen for March 1 - Cale Makar - NYR 2 - Adam Fox - COL 3 - Evan Bouchard - VGK 4 - Roman Josi - PIT 5 - Seth Jones - DAL Top 5 Goalies for March 1 - Jusse Saros - CBJ 2 - Charlie Lindgren - LAK 3 - Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - DET 4 - Andrei Vasilivskiy - TBL 5 - Frederik Andersen - STL
  19. ANNOUNCEMENT I have informed Gator of this already, so this is not a surprise. I will be stepping down as a player agent permanently effective immediately. I will continue all other roles (Updates, Trades, Waivers etc), but I need to step away from the Agent side as it has been very taxing on me this past year, and I need to put more focus into running my own team. I will leave this up to Gator, but I may still help out with the big Free Agent Frenzy, but beyond that, time will not likely permit this summer for me, and I want to try to regain the fun back in FH as it was for me before Apologies for any inconveniences this may cause if I have anything open with anyone, but I will try to make sure you are taken care of
  20. WAIVERS The Toronto Maple Leafs (Priority 29) have claimed David Gustafsson off waivers from the Winnipeg Jets *Backdated to MAR 17 The Following players have cleared waivers TOR - William Lockwood & Liam Foudy DAL - Walker Duehr
  21. Correct you successfully claimed Gustafsson, but even then so with your recent signings you could not assign Foudy to the minors as you would be over the minors Cap Any players who require waivers start on your NHL roster, unless waived and assigned. Any players who DO NOT require waivers immediately start in the minors unless otherwise stated. So his points would have only been backdated had you posted in the thread that he would be on the main roster after signing. This has been what I have been doing all year for all teams just FYI So MacLean would still need to be recalled
  22. Foudy has cleared waivers but I am unable to assign him to the minors as with Foudy you only currently carry the league minimum of 12 forwards
  23. I have processed the call up of Zack Ostapchuk however I cannot process Vladar to IR as you already have 3 players on IR as your budget allows (You also forgot a link)
  24. Hate to do this as my check in, however... I will be stepping down from all external roles (Agent/Clause guru) in GML asides from being GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning. This year has been quite taxing on me being an acting agent and spendings hours of days to try to help this league progress and keep this ship running smoothly. Life got in the way for most other agents and execs this year and I fully understand this but this year I was not expecting to bare 90% of the load throughout the season. Again this has become quite taxing on me with some of the abuse I have taken and criticisms of just trying to help out and take time away from my days, weeks and months to keep things going as well as they could. Again this is not a shot at anyone, just an explanation as to the suddenness of this. I have taken some time away from FH and have bounced this around for some time and this is the conclusion I came too. Again, I will continue with being the GM of the Tampa Bay Lightning, but I will use my new found time to regain the fun that FH used to be for me and more importantly for being a dad and a supportive partner for my partner. So with that, I am here!
