  1. Trading Hronek and walking Myers, leaves Juulsen as the only natural RD on the team. Securing a 1st and 2nd RD will cost a lot. It's hard to see how the team even maintains their defense with both those guys departing. They will have to utilize much of the salary savings of Hronek/Myers to upgrade the D.
  2. Only some fans, which isn't significant. The team management were very specific about acquiring Lindy. They knew what he could add to the team. Hats off to Silov. Kid's doing great...the Nucks backup next season.
  3. How 'bout a team that can only score goals on a man advantage. They really have to suck big time to the zebras...maybe pay for a retirement fund.
  4. Brock is a superstar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An awful lot of full onesies out there. Team Nanny asking for support~!
  5. Man, that sea of orange is hard to look at. Does anyone else think the Oiler home jersey looks like a onesie for a toddler?
  6. I don't know why the Canucks bother with a coaching staff when they have so many fans with brilliant hockey minds. They should just run a poll for the fans before and after each game.
  7. Karlsson has just come off 6 playoff games in Abby. He's also had a very good season in the minors. He might have some jump to his game. Podz would be a good choice as well, as he has played a lot of games with the team and is very familiar with the systems and what the coaches want from him.
  8. Great game for the Nucks to put in their playoff binder, along with all the others so far. The team wasn't going to win every game and this one was lost in the 3rd. The Oilers live the glory of their OT win today, but there's lots of hockey left to play in this series. Our team's greatest strength is their resilience and I have no doubt they will come back with a solid game, just like they did after the Preds won a convincing (4-1) in the 2nd game of that series. It's never pretty when the Canucks win a hockey game. It's always a grinding battle of wills until they manage to grab a win and run with it. They will have to be more methodical in their attempts to contain McDavid and now with Drais playing on the same line, it will be very difficult to manage. The Oilers are beatable, but the Canucks will need to develop their game plan and not waiver away from it.
