I would not call our defense trash. EDM only had 16 shots and a handful high danger chances - much less than ours. Most of their key players did not generate much. A couple of goals against were just unlucky. Sure the D made a few mistakes but so did EMD's D.

Looks like every 3 games the Canucks will come back in 3rd period. Game 1 and 4 vs. Preds and game 1 vs. EDM. So, I predict they will do it again in game 4 of this series.

Now EMD in 5, I guess?

The refs did their best but still not enough! Lucky that Canucks scored only 1:39 to go. I'd prefer they score 1 second left so the refs could do nothing about it.

They only played one good period. Lucky to come out 2nd unscathed. What happened after 1-0 was not pretty.
