Nylander has shown up in the post-season though for the Laffs. Laffs problem is that stiffs like the other two mega-contract guys on that team haven't. Same with Eichel (at least for Vegas). Plus, Vegas won the Cup last season with him playing a role in that. Injury excuse is a bit of stretch in that he didn't sit out in the meaningless last regular season game (though I'm willing to consider he might have an injury that won't get any better if not playing).

Well to be fair, he's not a 11.6 million the start of the next season. But yeah, he's not even playing to the level of 50% of that amount in this post-season. MIA. Zero pressure in that he's not the Captain (and the headaches associated with that responsibility) as well as JT Miller taking a bunch of the media stuff/questions. All EP has to do is 'play the game'. This is the game where he can silence the critics.

A dictator wouldn't have an election or try & fix the results like VonSh*tsHisPants south of the order. Castro Jr.'s ego is the reason why he's still running.

[PGT] Vancouver at Edmonton - Round 2 - Game 6

Next to zero effort (like last night) means the opposition can have Dan Cloutier in net. *IF* can avoid a virtual 'no show' like last game, we *should* win the game regardless in who the Oilers decide to use in net. *WAY TOO MANY* passengers last night. -

Tocchet would slap the stupid out of said player. Willie Desjardins would offer said player a hug (re: Prust crying about getting a healthy scratch) -

All I can think of is that if he's injured, it's the type of injury that doesn't get any worse if he played (or better if he didn't). We've seen that kind of injuries happen to other players so its not like it's without precedent. Guess we'll find out in the off-season if he requires some kind of surgery (would might've meant his season would've been effectively ended if he had it earlier). We need Petey to get to at least halfway to his normal self for this series. It's like going into a fight with one arm tied behind your back.

Sedins had the advantage in that they were already two thirds of a line (the guy riding shotgun just had to take care of the defensive stuff). Granted, the Sedins didn't each have a 10+ million cap hit. Bottom line, next season, a guy making that kind of coin shouldn't have any excuses (regardless on who his wingers are). Elite players should make those players better.

Not just a medical expert but now a history expert (dude didn't finish getting his degree from University). If he didn't know how the throw a football, he'd be flipping burgers at a Wendy's
