For the love of god....why can't Tocc plant Zadorov or Joshua in front of the net on a 5 on 3 PP Let the other 4 guys just wind up and fire shots while the net front presence blinds the goalie.

When they're trailing, trying to come back in the game..... they shoot everything on net and go for the tips, rebounds and bank them off players bodies. When they're on the power play they try and pass it into the back of net or go for picture perfect goal. Frustrating to watch.

It amazes me how potent our offence is when when we pull the goaltender for an extra attacker when trailing.... but when we have an extra attacker on the Power Play we can't even get shots on net. Seriously.., Two Power plays and no shots? Where's the urgency.

I would really like to BOOKEND the Oilers season tonight... We CRUSHED them in the season opener and promptly chased their starter (Jack Campbell) to the AHL in the games that followed. We chased their savior (Skinner) from the net in game 3 of this series...now all that's left, is to hand them their last loss of the season. Nothing would make me happier than being the team that crushes their "CUP OR BUST" season and toss the Stanley Cup "Favorites" from the post season. The Vancouver Canucks were the FIRST obstacle Edmonton faced this season and WE WILL be the LAST!.

The Oddsmakers have favored the Oilers in every game so far....they've been wrong 3 times. LOL Kinda like being a weatherman...you can be wrong 50% of the time and still keep your job. haha

People wonder why Vancouver Fans feel there's a referee conspiracy... That charging penalty was a joke...even if it fits within the parameters of the definition, why has it NEVER been called before. Coaches, Broadcasters, Players and Fans had no idea what the call was, because they've never seen it called. I was not a fan of the Joshua penalty either, it looked like McDavid took a dive. Would like to see a different camera angle on it though. Although I thought is was a weak call by the Refs, at least you could make a case for it. I'm not a big "conspiracy" believer but sometimes you see a call like Petey's charging and wonder if all the crazies were right. LOL There my rant is over....FYI, I also think most fanbases feel that there's a conspiracy against there team as well, so we are not alone. Haha

Pickard had a decent season (stats wise) Just because he's their backup or 3rd string goalie with no playoff experience doesn't mean we're going to light him up. Nashville and Edmonton thought the same thing about our goalie situation (Silvos)...they gave us no chance against their proven veteran goalies. Same thing happened against Las Vegas when Buble Demko arrived, so I'm going to temper my expectations. I'm going to reserve judgement and just say that if we play hard, finish our checks & stay outta the box, I like our chances.

I don't mind running with Silvos right now....Demko wasn't "Buble Demko" until his coming out party in the Playoffs (IMO) Confidence can be a difference maker in a players game...and Silvos is playing with a lot of confidence.

Canucks stomped Oilers...it's the circle of life...LOL Some teams just stack up better against others.

I'd like to see us start Silvos tonight. I'm kinda expecting the Preds to crash the net more looking for lose pucks and garbage goals. Silvos is bigger and covers more of the net down low and his rebound control is also a little better. The last thing we need is to put DeSmith in and have them crash the net and possibly re-aggravate his injury....or whatever he's dealing with. Give DeSmith a little longer to fully recover...no need to take any chances when we're up 3-1 in the series.

We've seen what this team can do when they play hard for 5 minutes... Let's play a full 60 minutes tonight and close this series out! No more rope a dope hockey please...our hearts can't take it. LOL

Players that likely can't or wont be resigned due to cap issues - Cole, Blueger & Lafferty. especially if your trying to bring back priority players such as Joshua, Zadorov, Hronek or Myers (in no particular order) That frees up $6,050,000 cap space...BUT your replacing them with Podz, Sasson (or Raty) and D-Petey/Brisbois or some LD like that in the system. Unless you can go to free agency and find a decent LD on a cheap contract, it also move Zads into your 2nd pairing LD if you can resign him. Even if you replace the departing players with guys from Abby it likely only saves you around $3 million. Some hard decisions ahead, Ideally trading Mik would be a huge help but you may have to attach a draft pick or prospect to accomplish that IMO

I'd like to see them have a "really good 60 minutes"...but that's just me I guess

Not gonna lie...I didn't go to many games after that one. Gave away or sold most of my tickets the following season and didn't attend anymore playoff games.

Going to my first Canucks Playoff game...since Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals in 2011. I was at 10 home playoff games that year....9 of them were incredible. Pretty pumped to see the boys in playoff beast again. Expecting the atmosphere and adrenaline to be pumping in the arena. Very concerned to hear Demko won't be playing but feel that most teams will face some adversity during the course of the playoffs. Demko established himself as a number 1 goalie the last time we faced adversity in the playoffs (against Vegas) Looking for Desmith or Silvos to take their game to another level until Demmer's return.

Wouldn't mind seeing Karlsson get some practice time with EP40 and see how he looks. He's been playing well in Abby and has a little snarl to his game...which surprised me. Kinda like Hogz. He goes to the dirty area's, scores and likes to mix it up.

If Vegas doesn't pass LA...they'll be facing the Dallas Stars in the first round. Dallas looks like a tougher matchup than Edmonton at this point.

I think you mean, would you rather have Zadorov & Joshua....PLUS the player/prospects & assets you'd get back in a Hronek trade. One option is good asset management and one is not IMO In either scenario we're probably weaker next season than this season due to CAP issues but so will a lot of contending teams.

Hronek has been very good for us most of this season, he compliments Hughes game really well. However...to suggest the major difference between last season and this season is due to Hronek is laughable. The whole backend was revamped in the offseason and in season....besides Hughes & Myers. I think Cole, Soucy, Zadorov, Juulsen and Friedman deserve ALOT more credit than your giving them. A mostly healthy Demko has also helped. You can't pay Hronek whatever he wants if it comes at the expense of the rest of the roster.
