I do not ever recall anyone getting any suspension that did the Canucks a bad that is worthy of a disciplinary action in the past for a few years now. That is not player safety, it is protecting the league's interests, not the safety so a few teams can win a few extra games or a team lose a few extra as well. That is how they roll.

I used to live in Eastern time zone before and missed a lot of Canucks game. If you do have PVR, use it and shut out all noise, no radio, no internet and watch the game whenever you can in the morning before you get on internet, radio, TV etc.

Agreed. We forgot that he is still a junior aged that don't play much this season. Maybe he will be given more opportunity as his body matures and has the natural talent to take his game to a new level. He was able to get in a few games and unfortunately, injury has slowed him down.

My first reaction, Cole shouldn't play in OT, no matter what. Shorten the bench. He can still play in first 3 period and shouldn't be in OT That is simple. He has reached his limit when 3 period expired. I don't think we need to overreact with Cole's play but he shouldn't be in OT, that is for sure for next time. Also, I don't think we should play 4 lines in OT as well. Shorten the bench and go for it.

If the report from the source about Sutherlands on the Canucks is true, the NHL need to investigate that and maybe decide not to let Sutherlands work anymore for the rest of the playoffs. I'm sure the NHL fans all over will rejoice. I have heard from others that thinks that Sutherlands is the worst as well. There are better ref out there than Sutherlands not working in the playoffs for whatever reason.

YOu would need a pole above the glass to determine that over the glass penalty on the bench. It is more of a guessing game if there is no pole to determine that one.

The fog of war has cleared up for Petey now it has been more open than Nashville series. Let's hope he is able to soar like an eagle for the win.

I think they will Soucy overcommit on McDavid and there is no need for that, just retreat if McDavid is at that bad angle and cover Drasi in the slot.. The worst he can do is snipe top corner and percent is not good at a high pressure situation. The Canucks PK never commit to that angle and why start now?

Three 3 players should be our main focus. Hronek is still under our control for one more year so we can trade him for whatever we can get in return for as long as we keep Zadarov, Joshua and Lindholm. Hronek can get something for less after seeing that he didn't really produce much in 2nd half of the season and playoffs. If Hronek is a PPG D player, he would be worth what he is asking for. Right now, we cannot really justify his asking price right now.

It is time for Petey to play with Lindholm or Miller's line and go with 2 scoring lines to get going.

Lack of adjustment to their lines is what is killing them. The Oilers studied their habits and if we had made some adjustments, then we'd have a better first period. Petey do need to get going and I do not get why Hughes is not starting the game to set the tone.
