  1. I wonder if McDavid cares to advocate for clarity on what supplementary discipline is handed out for a crosscheck to the face?
  2. I should also add McaAvoys hit on Reinhart who never touched the puck and got completely blown up. Nothing.
  3. So let me get this right…. Bennett can throw a well deserved dirty fuckin punch to Marchand and cause injury… no suspension or fine. Kane can slewfoot all he likes, no suspension or hearings Ryan can spear guys in the balls no fines or suspension or hearings Ekholm can cross check a guy hard enough to snap his stick in half, no talk of phone call hearing for intent to injure Hughes and Pettersson can be hit from a dangerous angle and sent flying head first into the board, no concerns of supplemental discipline at all… But Zadorov throws a cheeky cross check and it has to be addressed. Soucy gets McPrincess in the face only because McBitchtits is knocked downward simultaneously and its gotta be a phone call hearing because its McDavid. K got it.
  4. I got us to the 2nd round. What are you doing to help?
  5. No word of a lie with just under 4 minutes to go I called standy mid air and said Canucks are scoring a back breaker. I swear on my daughters life this is 1000% legit. if anyone doesnt know what a standy is, its when you flip your empty beer in the air and try to get it to stand up (in beer league its a free beer if you do) it is not easy to do. I felt the need to attempt a standy for good luck and it paid off.
  6. 1) our PP is trash, we are more deadly 5v5 than we are on the PP for whatever reason. 2) for as many bad calls there have been, theres been as many dumb penalties taken.
  7. Its deflating if its a bad goal, one that should have been a save, ala Cloutier. We never stopped pressing, we never really let Nashville take over control. It was far more deflating missing a wide open net than a harsh angle change on a redirect.
  8. To be fair to DeSmith, its not like that was a clear sight shot on goal that absolutely should have. 100% been a save. That shot was going far side, DeSmith had to look over the screen of O-Reilly+Hughes. He sees the shot going to his left and because he loses sight of the puck his best bet to make that save is to square up to the puck, hence why he slides over, then the puck takes a 45 degree turn the other way. In order for DeSmith to get back the other way he has to push off which requires him to have to scrunch his outer leg up and push off back the other way. The problem with that is it requires his body/right pad to move further away from the puck before he can explode back the other way. He had no real chance unless he had legs like Vaseline, or some 6’6” goalie whos legs are a longer. Its pretty hard to blame DeSmith, he even dropped back in the net to give himself some space for reaction to a bounce off the screen. He started at the top and then slid over and slightly back in his crease
  9. Well here are some pictures with some some pretty colours for both of you and everyone else to simplify….seeing how the definition at the beginning didnt help
  10. CALM THE FUCK DOWN. Dont give up on this team. Adversity builds winners. CF overall chances/attempts for CA overall chances/attempts against SCF scoring chances for SCA scoring chances against HDCF high danger chances for HDCA high danger chances against xGF expected goals for xGA expected goals against 5v5 Overview 64CF 21CA SCF 30 SCA 13 HDCF 14 HDCA 7 xGF 2.95 xGA 1.12 All situations overview 84CF 36CA SCF 39 SCA 20 HDCF 16 HDCA 10 xGF 3.34 xGA 2.39 IN THE FUCKING 3RD PERIOD ALONE WE HAD 37 ATTEMPTS TO THEIR 13. PK 100% PP - needs to be better FOW 58% we are controlling the large, very large majority of the play…. THIS IS NOT SUSTAINABLE FOR NASHVILLE.
  11. I dont want to hear you talk. Clearly you believe everything you hear, and read. 32 blocked shots for Nashville. Nearly the same as the combined total of shots. We had more chances, couple posts, missed a wide open net and had them under pressure on multiple extended shifts in their zone.
