  1. Wait what? There's no defense for this play. If you can put the puck on your stick that quick, you just put the puck past the goalies ear. Every other Michigan has come from behind the net and it took awhile to develop. Was there another goal like this one? That move is beyond slick. He's got an arsenal shots that I haven't seen before. I don't see how he isn't on the team next year. Ideal scenario is he gets SHL playoff/in loses but scores a bunch. Goes to Abby for their run and becomes a Black Ace once Vancouver gets to the finals
  2. That wrist shot gives me young Boeser/Petey vibes. Scored the game winning shootout goal today too. https://x.com/hall1289/status/1762572571231531085?s=20
  3. Bad bounce Bro. It's a piece of rubber on a sheet of ice. Kid played a great game. I hope he signs this year. Not much left for him to gain in College, He's clearly a Pro.
  4. No they did that because they trust Willy
  5. Good Beanpot game going into the 3 Willy played got bumped up to play with Hutson for much of the 3rd
  6. Watch how low he gets to make the hit legal. The initial point of contact is shoulder on upper chest. All of the subsequent contact is a result of his size. Not even an illegal hit to my mind, but I watched it frame by frame, so I can forgive the refs. The player safety review as per usual got it wrong even with the ability to watch in super slow motion.
  7. I made this post in Podz thread a few weeks ago. Still stands for Bainsy and Podz think he is deserved of a call up at some point as well to see if what he is doing this season will translate to the NHL and give him and the coaches a sense of where he stands. The way he is driving to the net so far is nothing short of eye-popping. There are 3 Vancouver home games in particular where he can be brought up that won't affect the schedule of the Abby Canucks if in fact they want him to stay there. There are no games during the weekdays for Abby and the Vancouver has home games on: Feb 15 vs. The Red Wings Mar 19 vs. The Sabres Mar 21 vs. The Habs These games could also be an opportunity to look at other players like Bains, but Pods would be at the top of my list to get a call up.
  8. I liked the trade before. I still like the trade, but now my concern is how do we keep him and Hronek. Is that even possible?
  9. If I'm management I don't change a thing. You didn't get to this point with a different team. We can always call up some Abby Canucks. No rentals please
  10. With no exageration, Hoglander could have several Michigan goals. Is there a reason he isn't picking up the puck behind the net? He gets to that position often
  11. Media people are functionaly retarded. WTF are these morons talking about? Are there Canucks' fans who think JT Miller wears a black hat? STFU you smooth brains
  12. Yeah I'm seeing his name pop up all over the place now. I really don't see any way he stays in Anaheim. I'd be down for Frank 'the tank' as a lower cost option for a 2nd liner.
