    We need to stop with this narrative of “it’s an honour just to be nominated” aka “we’re just happy to be in a game 7.” Yes, we’re here. We earned the right to be here. But we can’t just be satisfied to have made it to a game 7 against the Oilers. We have to want the win and we have to believe in our ability to win. No other result is acceptable. That’s how we need to approach this and everyone needs to bring their best

    First period was fairly even, second period was dominated by them, time for us to take over the third and get back in this. Unlike them, we are playing the right way – with integrity and heart we deserve to win this series, but we did get thoroughly outplayed in that period. Need to be much, much better if we have any chance of this

    He looks and sounds completely defeated Hate his response to Farhan’s question about why he’s been struggling these past few months. Sounds pissed, defiant, and takes no accountability. Disappointing body language. You can make mistakes and go through slumps, but how you conduct yourself during those moments says a lot about your character. I don’t like this from Petey. Needs to mature and do better

    Coach sounds exasperated. Some scathing comments towards the players who are not contributing. The thing is, the pressure was squarely on the Oilers and we knew they would come out hard. I honestly thought we would get annihilated in this game. We did not. We were right there. Just a couple dumb mistakes, but we are still very much in this series. Just need to win at home and clean up all this shit we did today
