GrammaInTheTub Posted May 7 Posted May 7 I haven’t seen anyone post this yet. In a tweet that has now been deleted, it seemed to show the NHL draft order. It could be that this was just a test run or something, but it will be curious to see how the order shakes out! Quote
Coconuts Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Replace Chicago with another team and that'd be a better result. 1 1 Quote
Bob Long Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Can someone remind me again why I'm supposed to think Yzerman is a genius? his team should not be on this board, again. 1 1 Quote

Detroit was never going to be a short-term turnaround, progress has been made though. One more win and they'd have been a playoff team and suddenly the narrative looks very different. I think how they follow up this season will be critical, can they actually claw their way back in? They're lumped in with Pittsburgh, Philly, Buffalo, Long Island, Washington, New Jersey, and Ottawa. There's even a chance that Tampa slips down, they were very, very dependent on Kucherov this season and I'd be surprised if he hit 140ish points again. It's a tough league, lot of teams out east are trying to either remain competitive (Pittsburgh, Washington, Long Island, Philly, Tampa) or take that next step (Buffalo, Ottawa, Detroit, New Jersey). Only eastern teams I'd say are probably locks next season are the Rangers, Hurricanes, Panthers, and Bruins. Toronto's tougher to gauge, we could see significant change in Toronto, I reckon they're probably a playoff team though. 2 Quote

GrammaInTheTub Posted May 7 Author Posted May 7 Looks like the leaked screen was indeed just a test run or something Quote
Wing Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The only team that I don't want the first pick to go to is Chicago... Quote
Wing Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) Omg please no. Edit: Okay San Jose getting first pick. I can live with that. Edited May 7 by Wing Quote
Ghostsof1915 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 The real question is who does Chicago pick at #2? Would they go with Lindstrom or would they grab Tij? Or Lebshunov? Demidov? Silayev? Quote

wai_lai416 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 lol it’s like not having a lottery at all? 1 in 50 chance that no team move up? Quote
Rekker Posted May 7 Posted May 7 When the heck is this lottery. Reports say 630 Eastern? I don't see it anywhere, nor any reporting on it? Quote
Ghostsof1915 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 3:30pm Pacific Time. Watch it on The Hockey Guy livestream. He and Yvonne were way more entertaining and no Gary. The draft went in order. Has that ever happened? Quote
