  1. I can live with 1 game, due to optics and result regardless of intent But if he gets the Aaron Rome treatment it'll be hard to take the rest of the playoffs seriously
  2. Often times I feel that you make fair points, but I think these arguments you posted were flawed, and that we weren't going to find common ground so I left a couple reacts and moved on. Not sure why we need to keep talking about emojis so often, I've explained this before. No need to react to random posts in other threads in some form of retaliation though. While I find it amusing, it's childish and hypocritical given the lengths you went to on the old forum to stop people from doing exactly that.
  3. I can live with San Jose getting 1st Just glad it wasn't Chicago
  4. Not to discount McDavid pulling EDM back into the picture, but it feels like Pastrnak may have been more deserving of being a finalist. 43 more points than next highest scorer, on a team that lost Bergeron and Krejci and therefore were expected to fall apart.
  5. It's not the only factor, and yes Kuch had quality support too. The drop off in production from his point total to his next higher teammate is too high for me to ignore though. Being considered the league's MVP while having another top 10 scorer on your team feels like it isn't in the spirit of the award. I won't be surprised if Mack wins though. He's up against players that won 4 of the last 7 Harts so that may also play a factor in voters preferring a new winner.
  6. MacKinnon and McDavid both had a teammate with over 100 points. Should be Kucherov who wins.
  7. For what it's worth, Boston got similar results from the ESPN staff, with only 1 member picking them. Seems that they're comfortable with just picking the favourites, granted the favourites did all win round 1.
  8. Unlikely, but I hope this ends up being the perfect storm for them and the Sens make the playoffs next year They've had a rough go
  9. Wishing him and his family all the best
  10. The loblaws boycott will ultimately just hurt the employees, while benefiting the higher ups at competitors. I get that people want to feel like they're fighting back in some way but this won't be helpful.
  11. Blues round 2 roster: Jarvis - Draisaitl - Necas Goodrow - Faksa - Rempe Landeskog - Brazeau - Hamblin Richard, McLaughlin, Dalpe Pavel, Nybeck Pietrangelo - Whitecloud Ceci Starter: Andersen Backup: Pickard Black Aces: Bokk, Trikozov Adding McLaughlin, Dalpe, Pavel, Nybeck from black aces @Gator @Relyt Krets
