[GDT] Vancouver Canucks vs. Edmonton Oilers | May 20th, 6:00PM PT | Round 2, Game 7 (Series tied 3-3)

Big loss if true, but still think we have the depth to pull this off. Will be even sweeter to be able say we toppled the media's concensus pick without our leading goal scorer in the deciding game or our vezina finalist goaltender for the entire series.

This would be our luck. Still think if they play the way they can, Canucks will win without Brock. However a fresh rested Dallas??? Now then we would be fucked.

Draisaitl, Ekholm and Hyman have all been playing injured too. Canucks need to get back to playing very physical. Oilers can't handle that type of game. It's why the Kings failed.

Its not injury related. He has a blood clot. Tough loss without our top goal scorer.

Shit. That will not be a quick recovery (I have had one). I am sure he will be fine, but damn.

Soucy played two game 7s last season with Kraken, both on the road.

Winning one on the road in Colorado and losing one on the road in Dallas.

It can be injury related.  In his case, most likely is.

No Demko, Vezina caliber goalie

No BB, leading goal scorer in the team

No problem.  Next man up.

BTW, a big Fuck you to those "fans" saying they don't care after game 6 loss.

The man's been so clutch for us really the entire season. Have a hard time thinking we would be here without all those timely goals in theses two rounds. The entire organization has had an unimaginable and unexpected turn around, but Brock also has, and it frickin sucks IF he cant see this out till the end.

Who will draw in to Miller's line in place of Boeser?  Now I see why they put Lindholm back with Garland and Dak. I'm not sure it's a good idea to put Petey on Miller's line.

One game at a time.  If it gets that far, Demko is a possibility.  Stars didn't have Hintz for a few games including the last one.

All teams play with injuries.  It's a game of attrition.

Lekkerimaki will play and get two, including the game winner!

He didn't even played that great in AHL.

Too early to throw him in the deep end.  I see him making the team next season.

Let's pull for our team to win one game.

Brock is a huge hole in the lineup and a clutch scorer. This would be like Edmonton losing Hyman.

Might be worth a swing slotting Lekkerimaki in - he's a natural right winger with a big shot much like Brock. We're going to need to score a few to get through this game 7. Imagine he comes in and lights it up?

Go for it, could be the last game of the year

Suter - Miller - Pettersson

Hoglander - Lindholm - Lekkerimaki

Joshua - Blueger - Garland

Di Giuseppe - Sasson - Podkolzin

Lafferty

Hughes - Hronek

Zadorov - Myers

Soucy - Juulsen

Cole

Besides Sasson, that's a decent looking lineup so long as Miller/Pettersson can rekindle some of their chemistry from a while back
