the destroyer of worlds
Lets go way down under for an "other" sport. Its the end of the season. The Grand Final (the Super Bowl) for the AFL season saw 100,000 watch those damn Pies win (I support Geelong). Collingwood vs. Brisbane Lions. Goal_thecup
What a game! Great athletes. Thanks, I haven't seen any Aussie Rules Football for decades! We used to get it on a new dew-dad at that time called a satellite dish; ESPN was also new and desperate for content. They hit on a goodie; we watched a whole season; must have been about 1980-ish. Now that is Sports Entertainment. (Almost as good as hockey but, well, you know, hockey is the best.)

Ya, we get the occasional match on TSN here in Canada.
the destroyer of worlds
Early days for the new AFL season. Nice win by the Cats over the Crows. The big news so far is the defending champs Collingwood are 0 and 3 near the bottom of the standings.
the destroyer of worlds
Top 3: Sidney Swans Carlton Blues Geelong Cats. And defending champs Collingwood is buried in 12th. Likely won't be able to defend their title.
