I feel equally as bad about playing a defensemen 20 minutes a night that can't even crack another teams NHL lineup

Yeah, a cup winning defense like Pietrangelo, Theodore, McNabb, Martinez, Whitecloud, and Hague.

lol.

not sure how credible that guy is, but Pachal would have to seriously outplay those guys and Vegas don’t want to lose them for nothing.

As I said before, you can’t have a RD situation where you have to play Myers 20 minutes a night.

Most likely going to go after Miromanov or Pachal.

What if we just run the bag off Myers playing top minutes?  injures himself for the rest of the year after three games of playing top minutes then we free up 6 million in cap space?

One example and you know it. The last 2 days had people calling for both JBD and Foote. Cute use of lol though.

Pachal has had 33 points in 145 games in the AHL. He was also undrafted.

12 NHL games and 2 points, and 1 game and no points in the NHL playoffs.

Don't think Vegas has to panic too much. Yes he's a RHD. He's the same size as Jett Woo.

If we're targetting a Vegas defender who may not crack the roster I'd be far more interested in Miromanov, personally.

Not always the case.  Most often yes.

Definitely not always the case, there is sometimes diamonds in the rough that get overlooked or squeezed off a good team. Forsling also cleared waivers in his career. But it's far, far more likely that this waiver picks up never amount to anything substantial in the NHL. To be banking on picking one of these players up to play with one of our most important pieces if this team wants to compete isn't ideal, to say the least.

Nope.  But worth considering. Flames waived Martin St. Louis once upon a time.
