Changing of the sweater on this ice might’ve seemed like a good idea in the meeting room , but was awkward imo.

100% he'd already been wearing the C in Pre-season.

I liked it. 

 

Hank held his gloves and stick. 

Smyl held his helmet and old jersey.

Kurt presented his new jersey. 

 

Went just fine. If QH got his head stuck then it would have been awkward.

If anyone happens to see some video of Hughe's post game interview, a link would kick all kinds of ass.

 

Not sure how I missed it unless it was radio only but everyone raving about leaves me feeling like I missed something special

It was good to see the former captains,but extra nice to see Linden after the shenanigans a few years ago. Orland Kurtenbach is looking pretty good for 87

Linden was still the president at the time. Nice to see him at QH captaincy ceremony.

 

Linden wasn't on stage, but on this video he said to QH "I didn't think that was going to happen."  They didn't expect to have a shot at QH at 7.

yeah to go from draft day steal to captain of the team its been an amazing journey for him.
