Can someone who heard PA on 650 this afternoon provide a short (or long) summary plz?

 

I started work at 4 pm so had to miss it

Alright here:

 

- Encouraged by start, but obviously we have certain things we need to clean up and work on

- New additions have helped the group with their experience (Cole)

- Doesn't feel the pressure to make a trade 

-  Podkolzin has great potential, Abbotsford good stepping stone to help him. 

- Impressed with EP40 200ft game. Good practice habits

- Fortunate to have the leadership group we do, Miller, Demko, EP40 and Quinn

- Will continue to talk with Petey's agent, this is part of process. Can't force these deals they take time.

I feel like if pods is in a good mind set and takes the opportunity in Abby he will be back with the big club in no time.

Alvin's approach to his job sounds like he has what it takes to be a good general manager. He is smart yet humble, aggressive but patient.

 

Bringing in 3 defensemen, 2 centers, a winger and a goalie in one off-season was a substantial change. To date it seems to be paying dividends.

 

Think we can all agree things are trending in a positive direction for our team.
