The Canucks didn't add any new faces on deadline day, but the return of a familiar face could be on its way soon. According to Brendan Batchelor, GM Patrik Allvin says Dakota Joshua is getting closer to a return and could be back in the lineup in two weeks or less. The big forward's injury status hasn't been made official, but he's believed to have broken his hand in a fight against Blackhawks' Mackenzie Entwistle in February.

Brandon Tanev has one more year of $3.5 mil. We don't have cap space to keep him unfortunately.

imho, a top 9 (better be a second/third line center), a top 4 d man, a third goalie (just for insurance). In 2011 push, we had too many injuries in final games. Players I like to add: Alex Tuch = 1st + top prospect Rasmus Andersson= 1st, Kuz, top prospect. If we want to have a solid 2-5 years winning window, short term rental should be avoided.

EP40 won't go this season. if any, it could be summer time. and management is checking if this core can win the cup. if we didn't go deep in playoff, then yes, EP 40 could be moved. otherwise, he will probably sign short term like 10 mil x 4 years. then at age of 29, sign retirement contract, here or somewhere else.

tbh, I want to keep Zad 4x 4 Mil. and also Myers 2 x 2.5 mil. Two big towers are soooo important in playoff. I am afraid our players will get bullied easily without them.
