[Report] Boeser Dealing with a Blood Clotting Issue
Hammertime replied to Drive-By Body Pierce's topic in Canucks Talk
His 2 points in 6 AHL games aren't exactly screaming thrown me into game 7 NHL Playoffs. Lekkerimaki will take time to become an impact player. I don't think this is the right moment. Let's not do anything rash we got this. Proposed lineup with Brock out Joshua Miller Garland Hogs Lindholm Pete Suter Blueger PDG have been great on the PK and have proven they can hold the fort. It sucks losing Boser but I think we are able to shuffle up our depth is still decent with a rolling 4th line of Mik, Lafferty, Pod, Karlsson, Aman. We can beat them! My heart goes out to Brock things were just starting to break his way again. Wish him a full and speedy recovery. -

Big Hamhuis fan! -
It's fun to hype on Lekkerimaki and dude I'm so excited to see him as a canuck his exuberance is needed. I just don't see where he fits. This could be our reverse naslund trade but I think we move him for hopefully a better Stojanov.

[PGT] Vancouver at Edmonton - Round 2 - Game 6

I wouldn't say that at all and the stats back it up. Is he dominating the way he did in reg no sure I agree. It's the playoffs teams are stacking up against him and he's still winning his ice time which is huge for us overall. If you can't see that I don't know what to tell you. -

What the hell are you talking about. Quinn leads our squad in Corsi, fenwick, G%, He and Miller are leading this team. He had a shot labeled lastnight Skinner just got a piece of. The way I see it. The players who have shown up this playoffs Miller (Player Coach) Hughes Silovs 2x3 Zadorov 6x5 Brock I think might be a cap casualty while returning some very nice futures Lindholm 7.5x6 Garland Even @Alflives has to admit he's been able to step up in this playoffs. Joshua 4x4 Myers 3x3 PDG Big Dad Energy Suter has missed a ton of prime chances/Has gotten a ton of prime chances and shots on goal when others failed to do so. I'm full cup on Suter. Soucy I think Pete's balls are about to drop Whether it happens this playoffs or not I don't know, but I'm not betting against Pete coming in on a mission next year. -

Ya i'm usually all on board to cheer for the last canadian team standing. But in this case no I won't cheer for EDM they deserve to lose and I hope it's by our hand tonight. Calgary, WPG, MTL, Ottawa I would cheer for Maybe even TO the way they their depth played against the Bruins won me over by the end where in years past I liked their game a lot less. TO I thought played their best series this year even though they lost. -

I prefer to mentally live in the world that believes Pete hasn't reached his final form yet and this years playoffs will be a catalyst for personal growth in Pete. Realizing that starting the season on a 130 pt pace matters not if you don't show up in the post season. Pete is a hugely prideful guy, and he's probably harder on himself rightnow than most critical fans. I agree on Lekkerimaki I don't see where he fits among the core as constructed. Miller's not a fit at least right now for a rookie, Lindholm is going to be taking huge defensive draws so probably not a good fit. Maybe Lex plays with Pete but Mik/Hoglander can't be their winger. Would need to go after someone like Crouse Uta, Tuch Buf, Anderson Mtl,? I really think Lekkerimaki should spend an entire season in the A unless he just crushes it. So far he's 2 points in 6 games so I don't see it. I'm not expecting him to come out of the gate hard next year as long as he adjusts and finishes strong I'll be thrilled. If Pete is traded Tkachuk should be the prime target. The Carolina deal was kinda a lot of stuff that added up but didn't make much sense. Edit Re Guentzel wow 9.5 is a big price tag. It could pay off big though if he's the right winger for Pete? I can't see Lekkerimaki being the 3rd on that line though so were still left with that dilemma. Or maybe I'm flat out wrong and they draw oodles of powerplays falling down everywhere.
