  1. Exactly!! The big companies have either just rolled it in, or as in my case when I’m going to charge for it, I openly let my client know.
  2. To add, I highly suggest if you value your mom and pop shop, don’t beat them up too bad with your points card. Some are aware but a lot aren’t, that it’s the business who pays those percentages back. Debit is a minimal flat fee whereas the points cards can be from 3-5%. Makes a big difference to their bottom line.. on the reverse, I hammer the big box stores as we all should.
  3. And their dollar days are crazy good prices on some stuff!!
  4. I don’t blame them!! The fees for those cards is absolutely ridiculous and I do t accept them either unless they will pay part of the fee. If they came down to the rates to the other major cards they would prolly accept them
  5. Yes was gonna add this too! What’s not to love about that place, except it makes me spend a lot of money haha
  6. The problem being he is not only a bad person but a complete moron who’s never had a real job outside politics and somehow amassed 10mil net worth
  7. My line of credit interest is minuscule. If you have a good bank and good credit, it’s peanuts in the grand scheme of things
  8. Next you are gonna say inflation is the liberals fault why make comments on things you don’t fully comprehend?
  9. If I’m gonna support any chain it’s always Costco, because they don’t bend us over the coals, and are the best option for any electronics.
  10. could be a big city thing? Their leases are crazy expensive. I’m in a smaller community so that probably helps. If I can find it even close to in par with big boxes I always go local. Much better investment. The business I run, our prices compared to shareholder companies is absolutely crazy!! But, we work our tail off to provide quality affordable products to our community. I think my wife and I are few and far between sadly
  11. Independents in my town, family owned operations. Veggie stands are a great way to find some deals on a variety of things. Even our “boutique” local grocer is better than sav-on and superstore, but prices are reflected as they have a lot of fee range etc. local butchers are great too.
  12. A lot!! I compare prices because I’m of the belief just cause I have it doesn’t mean I should spend it spot checked. Dozen items from chips to produce and it was crazy!! Sour cream for two dollars less for the same size and brand? Salads 3 for 5 instead of five. Now, not all were that three times factor, but it’s still crazy!
  13. The balls on that CEO to say our outrage is misplaced!! When a small grocery sells something for 3x less money, it tells us al we need to know
  14. *this is a* stupid phone in the Florida heat hates me
