  1. What is Justin Trudeau’s net worth?
  2. Unfortunately Brock will be out for awhile. They won’t clear him to play hockey again until they feel the blood clot has broken up. Timeline is minimum one month but probably closer to 3 months. It might affect his ability to train this summer as well. Wish him all the best. His father will be by his side I’m sure. Time for Lekkerimäki to step up. We have nothing to lose. Any warm body over Mikheyev.
  3. That’s not true. Even Russia and China still have elections. I’m sure they are fixed but they still have them.
  4. FDI computes both foreign inflows as well as Canadian outflows. Foreigners bringing their money into Canada increases our GDP does it not? Also, if it doesn’t make a difference then why does the government bother to even track it?
  5. Exactly. We need to get out of the mentality that our goaltending should win us games. No, our team as a whole should win us the game. Get 30+ shots on net and I am sure Skinner will let in a few.
  6. I understand you are in a bad mood. I’m pretty sure most people are. But stating as a matter of fact that tomorrow is going to be the last game doesn't really make you look like much of a fan. We’ve won 3 games in this series. Why do you feel we have no chance tomorrow? This series could go either way. It’s a game 7. I’m pretty sure it will be a one goal game again.
  7. We had 35 shots in game 5. That is the shot total we need to win this series. Sure, Demko can win us a series on his own, but we shouldn’t need to rely on goaltending alone to win a cup. Demko could also have a bad game or two. Remember Luongo in the 2011 finals? Same thing can happen to Demko. I’d rather have a team that doesn’t have to rely on goaltending in order to win games. If we get 35 shots on goal tomorrow I think we win the game without a problem.
  8. The numbers show outflow was significantly higher under Trudeau than under Harper. If you don’t believe the opinion piece than try posting some numbers that refute what was posted. $25 billion is triple what it was under Harper in his last years.
  9. Ummm, that was another poster who said that. Not me. So chill out brother and stop calling me a liar. I simply quoted the FDI numbers from the financial post to show that it obviously wasn’t that high but at $225 billion it was significantly higher than under Harper.
  10. I disagree. Other than yesterday our goaltending has not cost us a game. The other two games we lost were because we couldn’t get shots to the net. 19 shots in game 2 and 21 shots in game 4. We can’t expect to win games with shot totals like that.
  11. Phil Di Giuseppe would be considered a plug. Not a 24 goal scorer.
  12. I wish every plug we have could score 24 goals in the regular season. Also, didn’t Höglander score the only goal yesterday? So I guess the rest of the team are plugs too?
  13. What a pitiful post. We don’t need bandwagon fans like you around. Enjoy the last game? Really? And then Go Canucks Go right after you say that?
  14. The facts are that $225 billion in investment has left the country since Trudeau took office. That’s a pretty sad state of affairs. Luckily most people have caught on, even the gen z’ers know what’s up.
  15. $225 billion outflow since Trudeau took over and according to you that’s a good thing and it is trending lower. But I’m the one manipulating the narrative.
  16. It may not be $100 billion per year, but it is quite significant since the Trudeau government took over… https://financialpost.com/opinion/canada-lost-225-billion-foreign-investment-since-2016 That balance has been growing more negative over the years. Even during the Harper years of 2010-15, though our resource sector was strong, our FDI balance was negative US$7.4 billion, meaning we were a net capital exporter. But during the Trudeau years of 2016-2022, FDI inflows fell 15 per cent while outflows rose 16 per cent. The negative FDI balance was -US$23.9 billion per year, three times higher than in Harper’s final five years. From 2016 through 2022 close to $225 billion in capital was lost as more direct investment left the country than came here.
  17. It’s pretty obvious the Oilers will need to win this game on merit. So they are in big trouble…
  18. We let Edmonton score first because the team that scores first always loses. Oilers are so stupid!!!!!
  19. I don’t agree with this. Boston didn’t win a cup with two starting goalies. It’s hard because you always have to choose which one to play. The teams shooting for the cup this year all have true #1 goalies. Except Edmonton of course. Silovs could be our back up next season. But at some point he needs to be the guy.
