    I still remember this like it was yesterday. I was working the ice cream stands at GM place and we cash out after the 2nd intermission and get to watch the rest of the game. I thought we scored in OT earlier and started booking it to beat the rush, then realized no one was leaving, so I popped back in and just in time to witness this goal live!

    Canucks did this last time Soucy was out injured. They didn't put him on IR until like a week or two after his injury. Is there any reason why they don't put him on IR now knowing he's out 5-6 weeks potentially?

    Didn't he have like a 2 million signing bonus? Plus played a quarter of the season, so maybe he lost about a million, but he has the chance the make it back up with performance bonuses most likely. He has the chance to basically make everything "lost" back and have a chance for the Cup. Some punishment.

    Would love Giroux as he could play center as well and pretty darn good at faceoffs to boot. But he signed with Ottawa with a NMC, so I would think he wanted to be there for a reason. I think if it's Ottawa, it's probably Tarasenko involved.
