Honestly I think it should be 8m max. Anymore than that is just being selfish and going to hamstring the team. He’s healthy, and people need to stop making excuses for him when he’s not at the top of his game. At this point I don’t see how he deserves significantly more than Hughes and Miller. If he really wants to really hold out then trade him for a big return.

I agree that Petey was more at fault than Myers, but my initial thought was that it looked like a lack of confidence by Myers and tried to play it safe. If that was Hughes or Hronek you know they would’ve stepped up and made a play and turn it into a scoring chance.

I think it would be cool if they did the draft lottery live just before the draft, I think it would make things more interesting that teams didn’t know their draft position until moments before they pick.

Wait till the trade deadline and see where we are and what we should do. I would stay away from rentals though.

Apparently to trade Garland the Canucks would need to retain 30% and add a sweetener. Hard pass.

If any other team wanted Garland he would have been traded by now. He is an overpaid winger that we are stuck with for awhile I think.

Looks like a good trade, pushes Martin down the depth chart. Even in Abby sometimes it was hard to watch
