Regardless of whether McDavid or Hyman deserve penalties or suspensions, The DOPS should have provided a comprehensive and thorough explanation to all aspects of the incident from when it first started to the end (not just the Soucy incident) Even if we don’t agree with their actions or lack there of, at least we know why they did what they did. This is the minimum requirement of transparency and they owe it to the fans that give up their hard earn $$ to support this league.

We got the win we needed and at worse we go home tied. This team has shown great resilience on the road and if we can somehow win tmmr. I have a feeling we can finish them off on Thursday. It would be so sweet if we could win despite everything against us. All the media predicting us to lose defies logic. Yes they have arguably the top two offensive forwards in the game but when they have to play them for half the game just to stay close to us, something is wrong. Our goaltending is much better than there's and we don't even have our #1 in net. They don't have a soon to be Norris winning Defenseman in Hughes. They don't have a Zads who can hit to hurt. They also don't have as many players on the team that can play a 200 ft. game like a Lindholm who is doing his best impression of a healthy Gabriel Landeskog. The lack of respect is truly appalling.

yep. 6x5M is what I would do. Given his role on the team and his offensive numbers. His ceiling is a low 2nd / high 3rd pairing D. He has improved and may continue to improve with Foote and Gonchar on our coaching team. With him signed, our left side would be solidified for next year. Hughes, Soucy and Zads.

Really hard for me to disagree with your comment. The Petey of old would have had at least 2 goals tonight. The one where he hit the side of the net (not even the post ffs) and the one where he had the whole top side of the net and time to roof it but tried to pass it to Garland who was covered by 3 Preds. He seriously needs a chat with a sports therapist or something because his confidence is not there.
