[Report] Car Crash Including 3 TRU Volleyball Players - 1 Dead, 2 Critically Injured

I’m getting flashbacks to the Humboldt Broncos crash even though this was a car with 3 people. I’m thinking of the players, their teammates and their families right now.

OMG, this is horrible! Volleyball family is pretty tight in BC, I'm sure I'll hear something very soon. Hope the 2 surviving players heal fully

There is no reason for these terrible accidents, especially inside cities with 50 for speed limits. This is people, not necessarily the volleyball team, going way too fast. Very sad. SLOW DOWN PEOPLE! No need to speed.

Given the severity of the crash, speed definitely looks like a factor. People are driving way too fast in the city. There is no way we should ever remove speed limits; this is the reason why.
