I was on vacation the latter half of December, just got back to Dawson yesterday, as such this month's GDT will also be a bit more bare bones.

lol not that i care about the winter classic.. but it makes so much more sense to create a rivalry between vancouver and seattle than it is for vegas.. other than the NHL i don't think many cities care about the golden knights

I think it's less about rivalry than the NHL wanting to flaunt it's two most recent franchises or their wanting to give them a stage

Probably doubt any Vegas fan went to Seattle to watch though lol so what’s next winter classic in the desert in Vegas for the Vegas fan?

They'll probably do one in Mexico city before they do another one in Vancouver.

I don’t mind them not doing another in Vancouver but I wouldn’t oppose to them participating in one every 5 years or so

McDavid 5 Pts night vs Philly. In on all 5 Oilers goals..

1.60 ppg for 2nd in NHL now..

Amazing that he started season with a nagging back injury and missed a couple of games...

On fire 🔥 since he got healthy.

Sucks for Woodcroft.  A big part of the reason he got fired, ended up just being a sore back.

They knew he had  injured back the whole time.  He had to sit out cpl games too..

But he just couldn't skate like normal... just in beast mode now..

The whole team looks dialed in right now, from McDavid to the defence, all the way down to Skinner.  Woodcroft lost the room and he had to go.

I'd be happy for him if he wasn't the biggest whiner in the league.

Leafs pounded the Kings last night too. Could it be an all Canadian Cup Final this season?

It was his 10th career 5 point game, which ties him with greats like Orr and Sakic
