RolexSub
We live in North America and for the first time Canucks roster has gone from Feet/inches to CM's and pounds to Kilogram in weight. Wonder what is the purpose of this? https://www.nhl.com/canucks/roster

More litres the better!

I know 183 is 6'0" and 120 means you could maybe go on a diet or join the NFL.

Nice fella, etc. but I want to see these guys act like a pack now. 1 1

Wonder what is the purpose of this? https://www.nhl.com/canucks/roster according to my brother in law, I changed to kg's because it was a much lower number than in pounds. I maintain he is a jerk and I am simply a metric person. Not sure why CDC did for the roster, but I approve.

I'm 6 foot 2 inches and those are two separate measurements... anyways, back to the thread; I like feet. Wait-

I mean, it’s not a lot of math, but it’s more math than I want to do when scanning a roster! Is this hockey, or elementary school?

Jess
I learned some conversions over time. I think 183 cm is about 6'0" and 190cm is around 6'3"? For kgs I just x2.2 to get the lbs.

JeremyCuddles
Dammit NHL, I am a hockey fan not a rocket scientist. Converting to cm is kinda easy I guess. 1 foot is apparently 30 cm. But inches to centimeters is so it's awkward. 1 inch is 2.5 centimeters. I don't care how dumb imperial is, for height and weight inches and pounds is the way to go. Crimson JH
Look like it’s back to normal. NHL are trying to clean up the UI on their new layouts.
