Vasily Podkolzin

 

Why? change of scenary and Podkolzin is the price to pay to get out of Garland's term.

Just no..not Podz too much up side and besides bertuzzi is an undisciplined liabilty we don't need

Ah yes Bertuzzi the guy who praised Brad Marchand the morning before he took out Liljegren and zero pushback from Toronto

Bertuzzi hasn't been clicking in Toronto and we'd have to give up a solid prospect in this deal. 

 

I initially thought the proposal would be something like Garland for Bertuzzi. Costs are similar, but Garland has some term left. Maybe Canucks add in a 3rd to make it work. 

 

But adding in Podz is just too steep. Rather just wait and if you really want Bertuzzi offer him a deal in the offseason when he's a UFA.
