I initially thought the proposal would be something like Garland for Bertuzzi. Costs are similar, but Garland has some term left. Maybe Canucks add in a 3rd to make it work. But adding in Podz is just too steep. Rather just wait and if you really want Bertuzzi offer him a deal in the offseason when he's a UFA.
