I am quite excited.. this series marks the first time in my lifetime.. my Vancouver Canucks are going up against arguably the best player in the nhl. A Gretzky esk type of player who's capable of 150 pts. I know Patrick Kane in the 2010-2011 stretch was arguably the best player in the post-season. But this is the first time I am getting to watch the tip top generational talent vs the Canucks in a playoff series that matters. That honestly has me excited for the memories of this coming series. The fact its another Canadian team that has this player is pretty cool. Especially with him being on a neighbouring Canadian team. I hope this Canucks team can live up to the moment and seize the series! I am super stoked for tonight. I just wanted to share my thought process on this heading into the series. I know it will be buried in the countless pages by the end of the day but man. This is going to be something special.

That should get them into the playoffs at the very least. I guess NJ had no interest in bringing him on.

cant expect to come back game after game. not a winning formula. need more urgency and we need more discipline when it comes to late game penalties when we only got a 1 goal lead. I had zero expectation we would lose this game from the beginning. so the loss is definitely frustrating to see. the team has time to soak in this defeat for a bit and I hope they get their crap together. You can't just stay composed for 45-50 minutes in a game. On a positive note.. petey is skating again and is looking more confident. Good sign of things to come.

The New Jersey Devils are pleased to bring back two established players in Brandon Duhaime and Gustav Lindstrom. Duhaime is a player we have coveted for many seasons. He is someone I have kept on other squads of mine in other leagues. He's been a personal fav. Although his playoffs haven't exactly been stellar we believe in his leadership and experience will help our young kids in their develop. We are entering a window of contention and we believe he can be a key piece for us moving forward. Lindstrom is having a solid season all around. We plan on having an extremely competitive training camp and believe he is capable of taking a defensive job on our squad next season.

Let a team offer sheet him at that AAV. Take the compensation.

This team needs to find some heart. Maybe podz can be that heart. Hits, energy and a good shot.

The Preds have been clowning some of our players. We definitely need someone to knock some sense into them or we need to blow them out. A win is key but nsh is definitely fighting dirty.
