Okay so... From what I understand, to you, unless we get a cup from these trades, it was a waste? I believe they got out of a bad decision in cost and to a lesser degree, term in trading Kuzy. Brew wasn't going to sign anyway... So why not get some value for our prospect. I'm not saying this was a home run... But I believe it is much to early to judge it at this point. Let's see how far we go first... Every win, improves the value of this trade.

Yah... Short term, isn't always a bad thing. Lindholm is helping this team right now... Big time. In the playoffs. Isn't that what it's all about? As it currently stands, Calgary will get no better than 24th oa pick. Without Lindy, we may very well not be in this round and with a win to boot. You think long term like Buffalo thinks longterm. To be fair, tocc, gonchar and foote are above average coaches. Green was just average at best.... King and Baumgardner just plain bad.

Great take thank you. Totally agree. I watch NFL and CFL sometimes... Used to watch both NBA and MLB. Bad officiating at times in all of them. BUT I think NHL is the only major north America sport that intentionally game manages. We as fans see it all the time and expect it. Yet get outraged when they do so against our team and/or a call is made in an potentially pivotal moment in the game. The outrage is a head scratcher because it's nothing new and will continue yet some fans act as if it's never happened before and ready to wish death upon the official making the call.

He had a tough stretch and compared to last season, was having a subpar year. Seems Silovs needs to be challenged... Plays better with meaningful games. Will be interesting to see how he plays next year during the regular season with the big Nucks or Abby. May be a mood point if he continues his heater and wins it all this year as the starter!!

Maybe have Petey with Suter and Boeser? Worked on that goal to clinch series and Petey seemed more engaged with them. Bring Pidz back up and have Hogs and Podz flank Miller.

This series win shows that the Nucks now believe in their defensive game. They know how to win 1-0, 2-1 games.... As Tocc has preached all year. They have arrived as a well rounded team... Just in time to face a juggernaut offensive team. But unlike 'one trick pony' LA, the Nucks can score as well... Just have to get Petey going this round. AND most will consider us underdogs in this series... Love it! So proud of this team! So glad coach went with Silovs... As I said before his first game in... He has the 'it' factor...
