New York City Metropolitan Area is what the sweep refers to. Rather than New York State. It's a shorter drive from Madison Square Garden to Prudential Center than it is from Columbia Station in New West to Rogers Arena. If you were to drive to buffalo from NYC you’d pass by Pittsburg so I guess it takes the fun out of it ? 1
