Popular Post Goalie29 Posted November 17, 2023 Popular Post Posted November 17, 2023 I hate losing to the Flames almost as much as I hate losing to the Leafs. Congrats to @Snoop Hogg and @Cluminati for both correctly predicting the final score of last night's game. Updated leaderboard: Next up, the Kraken of Seattle on Saturday night at 7:00 Pacific time. Predict the winner, the score and the Game Winning Goal (or shootout). Predict the winning team - 1pt Predict the right score, but not the right team - 1pt Predict the right team AND the right score - 3pts Predict the Game Winning Goal scorer, OR predict the winning team in the shootout - 1pt Predict the winning team, final score & GWG (or shootout) - 5pts As always, only one prediction per game, no predictions or edits after puck drop, no conditional predictions and no gambling. If you have questions, or think I have made a mistake in your score, please DM me. Full PTSC rules can be found in the season opening thread. My predictions: 5 - 2 Canucks Miller with the game winning goal Good luck and Go Go! 3 3 1 2 1 Quote

This is something that I have in reverse - I hate it when the team loses to the flamers moreso than the laughs. Probably proximity bias (meaning eventually it might be the krackheads that ends up replacing the flamers). Quote

The Canucks (or any Western Canadian team) could be doing great things and all we get to hear about is what Matthews had for breakfast. Or when the Sedins were going into the Hall Of Fame and the stories were about which Leafs were most like the Sedins. It's nauseating. And the Flames are because I had to live there for 5 years and I developed a personal rivalry with my Flame loving friends there, which continues on to this day. I went to every Canucks game at the Saddledome while I was there and wore my jersey proudly while cheering on the visitors. I also cheered on the Rockets and the Blazers at the Hitmen games. There's something fun about cheering for the visiting team. 2 1 Quote

Not sure why though, I seem to dislike it when a team close by is doing better than our team, and the shorter the distance, the greater the dislike. It's one of my quirks, I guess. Quote
