49ers are very solid early on. As a 49ers fan its a little strange as we haven't had aiyuk and deebo at full strange and bosa  hasn't been great so far. Pretty scary upside.

The other danger is complacency from being unbeaten. I hope we beat the cowboys and then we can lose to the bengals or vikes or a bad team before rebounding.

The other thing is that it's superbowl ir bust. Not just the old time history but the run of nfc championship games means we either make the superbowl ir its a disappointment. Philadelphia will again be in the mix and the lions are better again.

Smart Play by Patrick Mahomes Cost Chiefs Bettors Tens of Millions, per Report

With about two minutes left of game time during Sunday night’s ChiefsJets game, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes could’ve easily scored one final touchdown to solidify the team’s lead.

As Mahomes ran for nine yards, picking up the first down, he slid while remaining in bounds at the 2-yard line so the Chiefs could kneel out the remainder of the game.

It was a smart football play, but some betting fans weren’t too thrilled with the reigning NFL MVP’s choice. The Chiefs entered the game as 8-point favorites, but Kansas City didn’t cover the spread as the final score was 23–20. A touchdown would have put them over the spread, but it would have given the Jets the ball back.

Various betting sites, such as Caesars Sportsbook and DraftKings, reported that a large majority of the bets made on Sunday night’s game were on the Chiefs’ point spread. While an exact number of money lost is unknown, according to ESPN, it’s expected to be millions that fans could have won if Mahomes didn’t slide.

Cowboys’ Micah Parsons named NFC Defensive Player of the Month

The lion of the Dallas Cowboys defense feasted in the season’s opening month.

Couldn't help but notice this line after re-reading your post....

I wonder who the "Cowboy" on the Lions' defense is? :classic_cool:

This.  Definitely this.

Your team did this last year and then went on a 10-1 run.  They'll hit their stride soon.

This Swift-Kelce thing won't go away unless KC starts losing and the fans turn on her.

It's funny, because a lot of the online chatter was about how the fix was in after the questionable PI call on the ball that was intercepted by the Jets...

....but to me the real head scratcher was how there wasn't a holding call on that 25 yd, 3rd down run by Mahomes. :classic_huh: The Jets' D-Lineman was actually waving at the ref, trying to call attention to the fact that the blocker had a handful of his jersey....

I'm not big on conspiracies, but I think the Chiefs were lucky to come away with a win in that game....

The Chiefs were very lucky to escape with a W.  The refereeing in the NFL is atrocious.  It's not just incompetence either.  The league is involving themselves in how the game is called.

Apparently, OT's are getting away with false starts and lining up too far back with/at the leagues blessing/direction.

Sounds like the CFL where the receivers are already two yards gone before the quarterback even gets the ball.

This week couldn't have gone much better for my Bills, but they have a different kind of challenge coming up....

We have to travel to London to take on the Jags. Problem is, Jacksonville played there on Sunday and will be there waiting for Buffalo when they arrive.

I'm confident in my guys, but these International games can be weird and the Jags won't have to deal with jet lag....

So Bears are looking to trade Chase Claypool or release him if no trade happens..Bears a mess

I have to admit that I'm worried about CC....(I bet Deb is as well)

After his start in Pittsburgh, he looked like a future star...or at least a solid #2....Now it looks like he's in danger of playing himself out of the league.....:classic_unsure:

34 - 0 loss in front of your home town fans.

On the plus side, the Patriots only took 5 penalties!
