  1. Not rolling with Podkolsin in these playoffs...questionable Otherwise Jack Adams winner for sure!
  2. Gotta apologize everyone. Didn't have the jersey on for the first period, and now they are down by one. I've remedied the situation, so it should be all good from here!
  3. Loved them this game! Gotta figure out how to bet a c-note on the Nucks to win the cup
  4. Hi. Sorry for the late reply. I’ve been in transit all day. Totally see where you are coming from. Love Hog, especially in the “big” games (like the Toronto match). I had heard that his style of play at this stage (being so intense) may make him very offensively effective with reduced minutes, which may not significantly improve with more 5 on 5 time (even though he is, I believe near the top of the league in that stat). However, he may have evolved beyond that idea in the later parts of the year (I’ve been out of the country and have been unable to watch games. In addition,I wouldn’t consider putting Pods with Lindholm as a promotion, but more of a useful component in a heavily defensive line that wouldn’t be relied upon for offence (although that would be nice). So the lines I suggested wouldn’t be considered in the traditional way, but more as three lines geared for offence with a defensive component, and one line with a strong defensive component. The line times would be spread out based on tactical requirements and the in game effectiveness of the individual lines. So these lines are really just based on personal combinations that have seemed to work in the relatively few games I have been able to watch this year. I watched Hog and Suter tear it up earlier in the season, as well as the Joshua Bluegar Garland line. Haven’t seen Pods play much this year, but remembered him to be strong defensively. Since Mik and Lindholm seem to be having strong defensive but challenging offensive preformences so far these lines hopefully would allow everyone to play to their strengths But, I must admit, I do REALLY like the hog, and want to see him on the ice as much as possible Cheers
  5. Actually, I just took a quick look at the Pety Miller Boeser line analytics (or at least all the red associated with it…ouch!!!). Don’t really understand much of that. Just remember seeing that line preform some magic during that New York State team demolition run back in January (I think). What happened to make that line not work. They looked amazing to my unskilled eyes in the few games I watched. If my first suggestion using the Peter Miller Boeser line wouldn’t work, I would try: Suter/Mik Miller Boeser Hog Petey Pods (remember liking them last year)/Lafferty Joshua Bluegar Garland Suter/Mik Lindholm Pods/Lafferty
  6. I like a lot of the variations I see hear, with only mild tweaking based pairings that seemed to have worked throughout the season: Petterson Miller Boeser-Simply overwhelming top line that other teams need to spend serious resources to try to counter Mik Lindholm Pod- Strong defensive line with offensive potential (Pods has history of raising his offensive potential in high stakes games) Joshua Bluegar Garland- enough has been said about them all year Hog Suter Laferty- feasts on lesser competition, especially with Hogs ability to rise to the occasion in big games If we need to shorten the bench, promote Hog and Suter to the second line (unless Pods is killing it)
  7. Once Joshua gets back, having Lindholm form a defensive based line with Mikheyev and Podkolzin could be his best usage for the team. This would allow the lotto line, the no name line, and the Hog, Suter, Lafferty (or whoever) line combinations that seemed to be so effective in the earlier parts of the season to be restored.
  8. Love the Hog, but would totally sacrifice him for a good 2C center on a long term good contract to up our Stanley Cup run. Add Pods to that line for a solid defensive 2nd line with offensive capabilities.
