    Need to exploit Edm suspect defense and pressure the goalie who's playing well. Won't beat Edm by setting NHL record for least amount of shots in 2 rounds. Stay out of box and commit to their system that got'em here.

    I'm not even close to being dejected. That said, anyone not acknowledging the fact that things will be far more difficult without Demko is fooling themselves When Demko isn't in the lineup, the margin for error is very small and in the PO that is even more emphasized. He is that important to this club imo.

    It's going to be nuts in their building tonight. We need to withstand the first 10min, and capitalize on any chances. After that, just play our game and no matter what, don't deviate from how we played all season.

    It matters and it doesn't. Yes, this is bad news for the victims in NY, but he's already been found guilty of similar crimes in California so he's going to stay in prison regardless I'm hoping.

    Laffs have to play Reaves to match Bos physicality, but every time he's on the ice he's a complete liability, it's comical to watch.

    I currently live on a cul-de-sac just like your wife used to describe as a kid herself, and I literally come home regularly and tell my own wife how grateful I am for it. My kids are in my neighbors backyard as I type this bouncing on the trampoline with their kids and I can hear them from my garage. All the kids in the hood go to the same school and everyone goes to everyone's birthdays ect, everyone doesn't get along all the time but we get over it and respect each other.... I helped someone on the cul-de-sac cut a dead tree down because I have a chainsaw and he gave me the wood for my fireplace. I know what it's like to have a-hole neighbours from my last residence and it ain't pleasant sadly. I feel fortunate to live where I do now.

      Both Bob, it worked fine, bacon on griddle was nice and crispy, and no smell/mess inside house, but I still had to dispose of a lot of hot grease in order to put the burgers on while the bacon was on the top warming rack.  Would I do it again?  Probably,  mainly because bacon is worth the clean-up imo😀.

    It seems odd to me that Swe would have a 'try-out' for their WC squad? Any players eligible would either come from the NHL non-PO teams and/or the other Euro pro non playoff teams, just like us I would've thought? A try-out for this team seems like a different way of doing things at the end of a long season, no?

    What gives me some apprehension (not a lot, but some), is the lack of meaningful playoff experience on the roster in general. If you take Miller/Cole out of the stats, that's almost half of all p/o games from this roster as we approach the end of the regular season. As I said, it's a concern, not a worry. It's why a lot of reams specifically target players with meaningful p/o experience at the tdl like Perry on the Coil, guys that pull the team into the trenches and know what it takes to win. That said, all players have to get p/o experience in some manner and why not on this club, this year? We've got players clearly demonstrating they can win already, no reason that can't translate to P/o, right?

    I hope they re-up Hronek, he's been WAY better than most people expected myself included, but I'm concerned that contract would be prohibitively expensive and cost the franchise the ability so solidify any meaningful depth to the overall roster. Allvin has a plan and parameters, of that I'm certain, just remains to see where everyone fits in that plan. Anyway, back on topic, does anyone know when the frozen four tournament finals begin? I'm assuming BU is in the mix, no? I haven't been able to follow as closely as in the past unfortunately.

    Grew up in a family of chain smokers and that was all the motivation I needed to NEVER smoke. Sadly though it has affected how I look at others who do smoke, as I now, rightly or wrongly, judge people who smoke, especially those that do it flagrantly around others including children. Sorry, but my lived experience has jaded me.

    Johnny Midget and Kakphuk basically made them go into full sell mode, I doubt management decided that by themselves. Best part is that horrendous Huberdeau contract that Treliving left them as a parting gift lol...as you can see I have zero interest in seeing their club be successful in any way. As for Bustwit, he was never going to be a part of this club long-term imo with Huggy here. It reminded me of Col getting rid of Byram for help down the middle since they already have Makar.

    Hard to argue with any of these personel decisions considering the trajectory of this franchise at the moment. Let's hope we continue to trend in the right direction long-term.
