And in 3 to 4 years would be a reasonable price for what he brings. Wouldn't be hard to move him either if it came down to it. I think he's really happy here and will work hard to improve his deficiencies in the offseason. Very important to have players that want to be here.

100% agree and well said. I'm confident in our group and we should be able to walk over whoever we need to to win. They're unstoppable if they're playing with confidence as they did tonight.

Just because they made him an offer, doesn't mean it will get done soon. I could see this dragging out. Management wants this done and out of the way and that's in their best interests. Hronek gets more if drags this out.

I trust managements decisions and extremely happy they didn't sell the farm. They have done a great job taking the team so far. Toffee would have been a great add I believe and I'm sure they tried hard to make it work. I believe in this group and when they're on, they look dangerous consistently. A healthy Canucks team has a good chance to win it all. If they don't, I hope management looks to make a play for a player with tons playoff experience similar to the Sundin move in the past.

They will find a way around it as they're finding a way around the cap anyways. They don't seem too concerned about being punished because they won't be. They will find a way around those contracts when they need to
