Overlooked Players at the Quarter Mark

Recommended Posts

With guys like Kucherov at 39 points in 23 games, the Hughes vs Makar race to catch Bobby Orr, and even Boeser with his 17 goals, it's easy to overlook other players having great seasons. I wanted to shed some light on a few that have stood out to me at roughly the quarter mark.

Sam Reinhart

Although it took a few years for Reinhart to realize his potential as a 2nd overall pick, he is currently off to his best start ever. He has 28 points in 23 games, is tied for second in goal scoring with 15 goals, and is a huge presence on Florida's PK.

Victor Hedman

After last season being a down year, many questioned whether Hedman was starting to show his age and if it was a sign of inevitable decline. However, Hedman is back to his old ways scoring at 1 PPG so far this season with 24 points in 24 games while still playing in all situations and logging around 24min/game.

Noah Dobson

Dobson is low-key having a monster year. He seems to have found another gear offensively with 21 points in 22 games and is logging an impressive 25:08/game.

Who has impressed you so far this season that you don't think is getting enough attention?
