Apparently they asked Brad Hunt to play, he declined. He has family going to watch him play in the "A", over Christmas.

Why not Bruce? Spengler Cup can be fun to watch but the Euros load up teams to beat Canada. Canada struggles to ice a good team. Bruce will be throwing both arms up and rolling his eyes as his signature move.

Bruce is a good choice. HIs happy-go-lucky Grandpa-style of coaching should help the kids enjoy themselves. He's no longer an NHL coach.

Well, much like his Vancouver team, they stopped playing in the 3rd, and gave up 9 goals in 4 3rd periods. Terrible. Dell showing why he's not an NHL goalie as well....

Sounds harsh but a typically coached Boudreau team. Should have called a TO in the late third. How they lost is brutal. That said not all on Bruce. For what I saw it was one of the worst Spengler Cups in years. Talent not there.

It’s a great amateur tourny to watch. But it is a bit of a “who is that??” Roster wise for Canada lol. Still fun hockey to watch.

 

Glad Brucey got one more kick at the can. But this is probably it for him.

 

I think he’d be great for junior hockey. Wind things down coaching his grandsons team or something like that.
