bh90
Hey guys if Lindholm fits in perfectly with the Canucks this year, what are the chances Boeser might be the odd llman out this off-season? If we retain Petterson, Hughes, Lindholm, Miller and Hronek that will be 5 guys that will most likely combine for about 40 million of the cap and in time Miller will most likely move to LW as his contract ages.... which is fine as youd have Petey and Lindholm as the long term C.. Won't make sense to re-sign Boeser especially as Demko will come up the year after Boeser. So wouldn't selling high on Boeser make the most sense? Get a PLD-lite type package out of him? JIAHN
Where is your proposal? LOL I think either Boeser or Garland are gone...........both are having solid years Boeser gets you more, but I think Garland is easier to replace? IMO......Podkolzin can replace Garland......Lekkerimaki will replace Boeser So make your proposal......can't wait!

IMO it should be sign Lindholm, keep Boeser, trade either Mikheyev or Garland. If we can trade Garland at his peak and get assets while having an in-house replacement such as Podkolzin, we have to do it IMO to preserve the longevity of the team (big-ticket core forwards are Miller/ Boeser/ Petey/ Lindholm pairings, see if two of Hoglander, Podkolzin, PDG or Suter can be a poor man's Hagel or Paul and fill out the top-6, then go with cheap hungry depth in the bottom-6). (PDG/ Suter) - Miller - Boeser (Hoglander/ Podkolzin) - Petey - Lindholm? Joshua - Blueger - (one of Garland/ Mikheyev/ Podkolzin) Aman - Lafferty - (one of the above bracketed guys) Hughes - Hronek Zadorov? - ___________ (hopefully find some cheaper but capable RHDs) Soucy - ______________

DrJockitch
With money going to Pettey and Hronek on the off-season, the impending bump in OEL cap penalty and Lekk coming it is almost a certainty that Brock isn’t coming back at the end of his current contract. May be time to sell high after this season.

May be time to sell high after this season. My guess is that the Canucks will be more inclined to walk from Lindholm rather than move Brock. Lindholm might be this year’s version of 2020 Tyler Toffoli for us (with the only notable difference being that Thomas Drance and JD Burke won’t constantly go on and on about Judd Brackett’s “pee pee” and “wee wee” and how he was the real mastermind behind everything). Boeser has been a core player right from the start and so I suspect that management will continue to try and build around him, Petey, Hughes, Demko, and JT Miller. cripplereh
Myers either gone or comes back cheap Cole gone Blueger gone Joshua either back or gone Mik traded with a package to get a better tip four or stays Garland and or Brock traded to get more cap space Resign EP,EL, Hronek and Zad. Podz , Bains and Karlson get to play. EPD and Lekker might make the team All works out we might just have three scoring lines and a good Fourth. We might need a ufa LD and RHD to fill holes.
