AndersRune
The team to beat? Top lines better then ours? Byfield-Kopitar-Kempe Fiala-Dubois-Kaliyev Moore-Danault-Arvidsson
Alflives
LA has wasted some high picks especially on the Big Bustaroo Byfield. They will be good but it will be Kopitar, Danault, and Doughty leading them.
Snoop Hogg
I’m not sure they will be our biggest rivals. I still think that will be Calgary.
DrJockitch
Not likely, they are well ahead of us. Calgary and Seattle are the teams we are chasing. Edmonton is always a crap shoot but with improved D they should be well clear of us too
Chon derry
I see Seattle being our rival
SV.
No chance - LA is clear. CGY/SEA, as others have said. And even then, SEA could yet push on and prove that last year wasn't a one-off.
Coconuts
We're behind them and Vegas imo, probably Edmonton too Fighting for that third seed or a wildcard, jockeying with Calgary and whoever is I'm third
cripplereh
I think we will surprise teams this year and be better. We should make the playoffs if Demko stays healthy.
IBatch
LA isn't a lock for third (goaltending), but the safe bet. Of course any points we can get in head to head games will matter more, but id say CAL/SEA and at least one Central team WNP maybe, at least as long as they keep Hellebuyck, will be our biggest rivals this year as far as trying to get a wild card spot and chase LA - so not a bad observations. It's very tough to say for sure. Think the Pacific will split points, and it will be close, right down to the last few games. Bobby James
Yeah fair points above. I think Vegas and Edmonton will be the top 2 spots. I agree that LA is likely the next team up there in 3rd. Calgary and Seattle will both be tough and fighting for that 3rd spot or wildcard place. It will be a hard year for Vancouver, but it is time to find out if this team is trending the right way and we have the pieces in place to be competitive in a couple years or if we're still very far off in which case we'll need to reevaluate. DrJockitch
Our biggest rival for the playoffs beat our AHL team 10-0 yesterday. Them and Seattle.

Calgary will probably get a top 5 pick in 2024 draft!
