I would rather it be us than any other Canadian team maybe except for Ottawa and Winnipeg. Definitely not from Toronto and the 2 Alberta teams.

The team was inherently flawed from top to bottom but you have to admit they got some REALLY shitty luck this series.  Started without Nylander, who looked elite in the games he came back.  Lost Matthews, who carried them game 2.  Lost Woll, who carried them games 5 and 6.

 

So yeah, what if-what if-what if, but they got done in by some classic Toronto luck.

Exactly. Put him in the pressbox but that probably doesn't help. Reduce his minutes?

 

Work with his agent on a deal? What kind of player gets asked to be dealt and comes back in the fall? That's weak.

 

If they don't want you pack your stuff. As long as you have control move on.
