Too many of them are so invested in the Oilers succeeding. Their reputations as knowledgeable hockey pundits will take a huge hit if Canucks take out the Oilers in this round. Our beloved Juice is the lone wolf on the panel. He’s got the Canucks backs. Edited May 9 by PistolPete13 1 1

And I think he is predicting Dallas will win the Cup.

The Oilers have been hot and they've had playoff runs the last few years. Most people think that the Oilers have a better shot at the cup and Friedman for one, says that he wants a Canadian team to win and I believe him. I suppose most of those guys grew up in southern Ontario so are / were Leaf fans. As long as they don't go off the rails like Harnarayan Singh it's ok

I still think Ekholm is their only good D After tonight's game, I agree about Ekholm. Plus he is cool under pressure and has good girth.

Juice’s head says Oilers but his heart says Canucks. Driving back and forth between Victoria an Vernon every week, it’s eight hours of NHL radio. Nobody gives the Canucks a chance. Of the eight remaining teams, Canucks were rated most likely not to advance to the second round. Only one of the experts even gave the Canucks a “punchers chance”. I don’t mind being the underdog. We have a real shot to beat the Oiler’s and that’s good enough for me.

You know we'll get a couple adverse calls but it's been coming down to hockey overall so far in the playoffs which is good.
