What inspires a man to seek power? He who was once with the meek now walks with wolves, ready to strike at us with his iron gavel.

 

I remember when I was young and new to CDC. Sharpshooter was so cool. He was an elite troll and, man, his avatar was wicked. I see this guy going around the forum insulting God, Jesus, Santa Claus, and even Mother Teresa. This guy had no time for BS; he'd cut through it like a hot knife through a DTES abdomen.

 

He was the one getting in trouble, not doling out punishments. But somewhere along the road, he changed. He's "The Man" he was once fighting.

 

And he's not even that good at Mafia.

I guess sometimes people lose their way, or perhaps the path they were on required too much effort, and was difficult to navigate. They trade in their hiking boots for a pair of slippers so they can shuffle around the retirement home and shout into the echo chamber just to hear the sound of their own voice, and be reassured that they're not dead yet.

The new forum isn't a part of a big bad organization anymore but we can't kick the habit of attacking "power" even if we have to make it up.
