Was a lot if fun these past couple of weeks leading up to the deadline. @canuck2xtreme Awesome job as always, extremely thankful for all the hours and work you put in. The New Jersey Devils were busy leading up to and during those last few minutes before the clock struck midnight on another trading season. I'd like to thank my fellow GMs for your time here, whether working on trades in depth with solid back n forth or a simple " f%#@ off Mike! ". All is appreciated. The Devils have been at or near the top of the Eastern Conference and League standings throughout the year. Higher than we projected going into the season. We spent hours spinning our wheels trying to manufacture tradeable assets or at least the illusion of. Its never an easy move to trade away the prospect level assets but this game is about winning. Every team has cycles and I respect the more patient or disciplined GMs here and how they operate. But this guy is just restructuring and stretching if not building a new window to compete. all that said, we are very excited to bring in the following players leading up to the deadline: F Anthony Duclair F Alexis Lafreniere F David Perron F Radek Faksa F Warren Foegele F Conor Sheary F Justin Sourdif F Brett Berard F Wade Allison D Dylan Samberg D Jeremy Lauzon D Ryan Lindgren G Jeremy Swayman This year will be another exciting year in the Playoffs ( never missed the post season btw ) and looking more and more like we will be lining up to play the Capitals. @da.moose is one of our top GMs year in and year out. Seeing his club's moves leading up to the deadline, will be no surprise that as a round one series things will go down to the wire. Optimist Prime Posted March 15 Share Posted March 15 not only are these coming NHL playoffs something we should all be stoked to see, but for me, i even enjoy the leagues playoffs, even when I am not in them. THis is going to be a great post season in the GML, to pair well with an amazing post season in the NHL.
