Let's be real though: the internet is judge, jury, and executioner. Lots of stuff written isn't true. However, lots of stuff is true. It's not a fair trial, which is an IMPORTANT part of democracy. An unfair trial would be like Putin determining that the opposition leader was found guilty of treason There's more than ample proof that Weinstein was a predator. I'm just always talking about how careless and half-assed the NY court system is in the Trump thread. This is a prime example of that. He wasn't eligible for parole in NY for another 15 years before this. I think he's actually serving time in California for his convictions there. So it's basically a future release thing.
