Googlie
And their usual great write-up by CanucksArmy ... https://canucksarmy.com/news/farmies-vasily-podkolzin-returns-abbotsford-four-shots-phantom-assist-club-3-1-loss-ontario-reign
Googlie
Have we heard if Tolopilo is now down in Ontario? Sawchenko did a great job in the 1st round, but was a bit outmatched that first game vs the Reign. Abby plays tomorrow and don't want to go down 2-0 in a best of 5. He has played the Reign 4 times this season, winning 3 Edited May 5 by Googlie

MoneyMiller
Looks like Sawchenko is back to his normal self. It's really too bad Tolopilo couldn't be getting all these playoff games for his development he was playing great before the callup.

CRAZY_4_NAZZY
Reinforcements for the parent club coming up. Dries, Podkolzin, Karlsson, Bains, Wolanin, Brisebois, Irwin i'd imagine 1

Fen1010
Sucked that both games were on the same night. Only home game for them this year in the playoffs and the barn was half empty.
Popular Post Attila Umbrus
Great year everyone. I think defensively the loss of Jett Woo was a big one for our team. It’s a good sign tho development wise for Woo. He really was a rock this year. And without him it was noticeable. Next season is a big one for him. RD position in Vancouver is very wide open for the taking. The EBUG situation sure didn’t help the play off run either. Usually every NHL town has an EBUG I thought?? It will be interesting who stays and goes this offseason. I think Irwin and Dries are gone. Cicek, Johanssen, McWard, McDonaugh are all RFA same with Karlsson. I think we let Johanssen walk along with Irwin and Dries. Sign all other RFAs. I think our farm team will get even younger next year. Which seems to be the plan progression wise. A nice steady pipeline of youngish players always pushing for bigger minutes. Prospect wise that will be fun to see. Who from this years group takes the next step forward? Which kids will we see next year on the farm ie: Kudryavstev? Lekkerimaki? Willander (end of next season). Cheers everyone. Sad we didn’t go further. But it’s a young team and lots of lessons were learned along the way. 3 1 2

I think the Canucks have used 1 or 2 already.... I know Silovs and Tolopilo were emergency ones. Also wondering if you recall a player twice (the Podkolzin scenario - he was brought up once, then sent down again and maybe about to be brought back up soon) does that count as one of the 4 allowed or two? I believe the recalls in the playoffs are limited to 3 in the postseason. No recalls have been used yet for the playoffs as Silovs and Tolopilo were both used as emergency recalls. Has the rules changed? I thought recalls were over in the post season. I remember one year there was like 7 players from the farm team at practices and watching from the team box. To soak up the playoff atmosphere.

Im not sure...I was listening to sportsnet radio and Thomas Drance alluded to having 3 recalls for the playoffs. Im trying to find the CBA language around it but don't see anything to be honest. But usually you don't see many in the playoffs but a mass recall usually. I would certainly hope though that they recall up a lot of guys from Abbotsford. Lots of players deserve it. Would even say some AHL base contracts deserve it too like Chase Wouters and Marc Gatcomb (althought they can't be recalled).
