Dang, another waivers post for today. I'll just repeat myself for consistencies sake. Sokolov is the only really interesting name here for me. But I don't think I'd claim him for this particular roster. Unless we really feel like Joshua isn't where he should be and we waive him instead. Bernard-Docker should probably be an easy claim too, but we are overloaded on LD so meh for me but I can see a few other teams rushing to claim him. Feels like he should be in the NHL.

Certainly very intriguing....if we had no Myers and a legit Hughes partner, it would be more likely IMO. Otherwise, I still think we're best off seeing if we can snag a Bjork/Pachal/Coghlan

I got thinking of that other Larsen we had a few years ago as well. I think he got destroyed behind the net and never played with the Canucks again haha

Either really, but probably McWard (I don't view waiving Juulsen as much risk at the moment though).

Kind of shocked to see Cal Petersen on waivers in Philly. I thought Philly traded for Cal to stabilize there goaltending. Shocked they've already given up on him given what they gave up for him.

 

Is Felix Sandstrom really doing that well in camp this year? Or is Cal really just that bad?

They took him as a cap dump. His contract is horrible

Trade them a waiver cleared Rathbone lefty. Then they won't lose one?

Just read up on their preseason, and it sounds like Jiricek has looked good with Provorov on the second pair. If he stays up, Bjork should be available.
